The AirCheck G2 uses 3 internal antennas to measure the signal levels that are reported everywhere except the Locate screen. When it switches to the Locate screen, the AirCheck G2 then uses a single internal antenna, which will often register a lower signal level. The Locate screen’s signal readings are to be used in a relative manner, to locate a device by following the increasing signal. It is the signal level on other screens that should be used to determine the signal level of a device.
